I just closed the kindle on yet another masterpiece by this Queen of Angst and I am speechless.
Phenomenal. Outstanding. Unputdownable.
Let me state this first. Jack & Jill series is one of the BESTEST series ever written..EVER!! To continue it and to do it in the same vein, to catch the same mood, on the same velocity (J&J was pretty racy) is a major feat in itself and Jewel manages to ace it like a Boss!!
It's like she never took a break in between these books. B.R.I.L.L.I.A.N.T.🌷 she drives this juggernaut into yet another territory with same aplomb and trademark humor and sass, it leaves me in awe of her immeasurable talent
Every story of hers becomes my new favorite, my new obsession.
In this one, The Hero is Tall, Dark and one hundred percent Asshole. The heroine is Sassy, mouthy, intelligent and a collector of moments.
The story as a whole is-> Vulnerable. Frightened. Suicidal.
Two Stupid, crazy, impulsive hearts, hell bent on destroying each other and burn downthe world together.
The incredible graph of intimacy shoots like a rocket. The explosive relationship starts out as two stubborn people who are at logger heads from the time they set their eyes on each other. The chemistry builds up to Lasvicious palpitations and cant-breathe-without-each-other Love. A slow burn romance with depth, and a dark aura of mystery surrounding the love bubble, this book will chill you and thrill you like no other.
