There's stalkers and there's STALKERS
And then there's Maxwell Gray !
He's on a whole new Galactic level of Stalking. He was a sniper , he locks on to a target and when it's in his crosshairs, ALL his senses hone in and he never misses.

Even when they ease into civilian life, their spotter/sniper brotherhood remains the same.
Max is generally in his own focused world of business , oblivious of everything around him.
He's just hyper focused.
Obsessive about his company.
Driven to succeed.
But not a possessive lunatic.
Like Violet. She's an excellent secretary , who practically runs his office but is invisible to Max's eyes. She has to endure office politics, sleazy clients and she wants to resign.
Puts in her Two Weeks Notice and that gets his attention
he notices her..Oh, he NOTICES Her and how.

He gets obsessed with her, encroaching her personal space, her house, her social life, even her room, a sleeping under her bed!!!!
He vows to protect her from her dangerous past and from his own shameful secrets too.
There's only room for one freak in her world. And I take up a lot of space
The book is written in a typical Webster style, speedy, hyper, thrilling.
There's hot sex guaranteed. Passions exploding with a silver lining of emotions.
Her villains are dangerous and maniacal and Vaughan is no exception.
I enjoyed reading it
