I legit passed out in the first chapter itself, but Aleatha in all her conniving mind wouldn't let me.
The story just takes off, jumping over hurdles of physical injuries, emotional trauma, stress, familial betrayals, a whole lot of upheavals.
Julia...oh my poor Julia, it's only her staunch loyalty to Van and immense love that they share, gives them the strength to overcome all.
The HEA wasn't given to them readily or handed to them on a platter. They paid for every ounce of their deserved happiness with buckets of tears and oodles of heartaches.

I loved how Aleatha brings it all together so spectacularly and ties it neatly with a bow.
