I don't even know how to begin gathering my scattered heart and pen down the massive feelings I'm left with, after having finished this book and the phenomenal series.
As an avid reader I finish a book and move one to the next one immediately. The tiny details sometimes linger, some scenes etch in the memory and overall feelings remain.
That is NOT the case With Aly Martinez books.
They become a part of my soul. i can NEVER move on. That's what makes her different and coveted
I can actually remember the stories in their entirety of all her past books and this series is no different.
The sheer magnitude of sentiments she packs in her books carry a punch of 10 G-Force. (Human beings can only tolerate 9 btw)
To say this series annihilated me, would be an understatement. It's impact has made a crater the size of Atlanta in my heart. Every book of hers is highly anticipated. It is a promise of a good feels, slapstick humour and heart twisting angst. This pot boiler has Remi Grey & Bowen Michaels who are not only adorable, they're are invincible lovers. If there is a poster-couple who withstand tragedies of physical and metaphysical kinds, who inspire and are objects of aspirations for us lowly humans, it's Remi & Bowen.

The time-out phase for Remi to find herself, brings her to Jenna who becomes a very important Character throughout. The Charlotte episode is oh so flaming hot, I actually got jealous of Remi.

But the fire, though toned down, still has burning Embers beneath. The distance has neither mellowed nor diluted their intense love and longing for each other.

The series conclusion is not only Epic, the twists (YES!! PLURAL!!) keep your neck fully exercised with whiplashes. My jaw dropped like Paul and threatened to swallow my entire face.. (YES! THAT big!!)
So like I said, I can't even begin how to articulate the feelings roiling inside my chest after having finished this book, this phenomenal series.
I'll only say this, if an alternate book world exists, I'd like to be the heroine (read Remi) in any of Aly Martinez books.
