Opened the book to a tragedy. And the cloud of despair and dread started to build over Bowen Michaels, who walks around with aesthetically pleasing rump with swoon-worthy arms that Remi Grey wants to fall in.
"Mr. Tall, Dark, and Nice Ass. The Man of Mystery. He was becoming Mr. Sweep Me Off My Feet. "

She does manage to spill on him, break his nose and drench him with bubble tea...if that's not true love, I dont know what is?!!
The story had me giggling, tittering with a huge, HUGE smile on my face. The repartee is some the most intelligent I've read. Aly has a wicked sense of humour and it shows.
About halfway things get serious
" Really fucking serious.
Life-changing serious.
Terrifyingly serious."
Feelings get involved even though they're both still standing one foot in the dark past. The TRAGEDY is still an ominous entity trying to come between them
But the Happiness!! Its too contagious,too heart filling, too sunshiney so that it dispels all of the grey clouds and the happy couple kisses and makes out and canoodles and has lovey dovey dates and all the sex releases the pent up emotions.
**sigh** I'm floating on their borrowed fluffy cloud 🥰
"after months of walking around hollow-chested with a permanent chill, a little fucking sunshine in my life went a long way."
