I've been waiting a long time for THIS story. It sounds pretty dramatic, but when you come across an emotional powerhouse of a plot, a flawless narration that checks all the sentimental boxes, it's difficult to come out unscathed and unchanged. All the characters are hysterically unstable, impassioned and enthusiastic in their familial loyalty, fanatical in love for their soul mates till it ends up becoming a ball and chain around their ankles, dragging everybody down!

I read this book cover to cover, line by line, word by word. Overwhelmed and Drained, I had to take several pit stops to swallow hard the rock of guilt and emotions stuck in my throat.
Jewel has put in tremendous amount of effort and care in creating these people, she shifts them like pieces on a chess board, switching their colors and motives all the time. I felt an overpowering connection to all of them...yup ALL OF THEMmultiple POVs helped in shifting my loyalties from book 1 through book 2. The cadence and constant movement of the plot is purposeful and deliberate which helps build intrigue and chicanery that's happening right in front of your eyes.
"Sometimes we loved with lies and protected with sins." 
Manipulation & deviance take center stage deliberately or unbeknownst, I tripped on it and fell headlong first...all the way down the rabbit hole
I'm rendered speechless everytime I've read jewels book, yet i babble! #Conundrum!
All them are sheer perfection, but this one is EXCEPTIONAL
At the end you're left with One Question
"What would one give to have someone back? 
What would one give for that second chance?"
