Unfortunately, his plans for a little R&R are drastically altered when he rescues a genetically “spliced” creature from a clan of rapacious backwoods thugs. He quickly learns that somebody wants this unusual beauty back and will stop at nothing to retrieve it. But why? What is so special about living fantasy created simply to satisfy the decadent whims of the uber-rich? What secret is she hiding behind beneath that exotic, furry body? Throw in an ex-girlfriend Tiger still carries a torch for and a high-tech bounty hunter who will kill anybody that stands between him and his prey … and things start to get really complicated.

Meet The Author

Author Bio:

J Morgan Woodall

I’m J. Morgan Woodall, and I’m an author of adult sci-fi and fantasy. I was born and raised in the Birmingham, Alabama area, where I’ve lived my entire life. I’ve wanted to be a writer as long as I can remember. Sometimes, I tell people I’m more a storyteller than a writer, something that is considered an art in its own right here in the South. I’ve always had a head full of stories, even when I was back in my school days, drawing crude comic strips and scribbling short stories in my notebook in the back of the class. But I never pursued it as a career, as when real life hits, those dreams of youth are the first things that get kicked to the curb.

With the advent of self-publishing, I decided last year to give my writing another shot last year. In February of 2017, I released my debut book, “The Devil in the Detail,” a short story/ novella (depending on whose word count rules you go by). On August 24th 2017, I released my first full-length novel, “Like A Fox on the Run,” a sci-fi/ fantasy adventure that is a bit out of the norm, but a tale that fuses many genres into one action-packed story.
