But underneath , the marriages are rotting. The relationships stinking. The betrayals poisoning their lives
Kyle is brutal, selfish, aSShole of the first degree.
Ethan is kind, selfless, caring to a fault
What happens next ....hmmm....You'd guess everything being very predictable and on track.
Yes, you're right , to an extent. I'd figured out the story track in advance, but it was very engrossing read. Even though it got a bit repetitive and snagged a bit in the middle.
How could all the characters be such Black & White, I didn't get it. Syrupy sweetness....almost gave me diabetes , yanno !
But wait , Jaimie took a spatula , and no she didn't spank my behind with it. She flipped the story over in the effing epilogue!! 😱😱
I was getting a bit distracted in the middle TBH.. but I must say -well done Jaimie 👏👏
One tiny thing though .
Ethan YummyDoctor Connor - "I was born in 1981"
That makes him 36
I was born in 1966 , that make me ?!?!?!? ..nvm🙄
WAAAY to make me feel like a pervy cougar . And here I was drooling over him 🙁😕
But I'll wear the title if I can get my hands on Ethan 😜

Kyle and Alice have a different marriage. One sided and his way or the highway…you woman, me man. Kyle takes what is his and gives nothing in return. Alice has only been with Kyle…thinks that his way of treating her is ‘normal’.
Ethan and Sarah have a loving marriage, that is missing the one thing they both desire. A Child.
What a RIDE!!! Just when you think you’ve got this book mapped out and how it will end, BAM! Jaimie has a knack for letting you ride through a book so smoothly…then the Epilogue comes and you are like What The HECK!!! Master planning at its finest!
