The Daisy Chain of Love rolls on the highway yet again in this third episode of Temecula Kids Adventures. It's a storm of emotions trapped in a car, that rolls from the pages, right through your heart, leaving indelible tread marks.
"It was a beautiful day outside, bright and clear. But the storm brewing inside the car was as black as midnight."
Katherine Gates needs to put some distance between her heart and its nemesis, Cash Greer and he needs to companion her on this journey.
She's at the crossroads of her stagnant life and has to make a tough choice between staying and watching her heart deflate with every smile of cash or go find her own HEA

""Why did it feel like I’d just been kicked out? Why did it feel like I’d just been given an ultimatum? Get over Cash or go somewhere he’s not."
Devney writes this Romance travelogue on a road of soul-search with so many feels, I was teary eyed and frustrated no end. Central theme being A woman's desire to nest playing tug of war with her craving to fit in her adoptive family. It's poignantly etched in this vividly emotional tale of Unrequited love. The setting is bursting with colors of nature, rolling hills of Montana to crashing waves on the Oregon beach and all the motel stops in between.

"Eight hundred and thirty-one miles of space, to be exact. That was how far it was to Heron Beach, Oregon, from Clear River, Montana."
Cash and Kat are on opposite sides of the relationship spectrum at the start of the journey and many breathlessly passionate encounters later, are still an inconclusive mess of sentiments, as the Red Cadillac Convertible reaches its intended destination. Matters of the heart aren't an easily decipherable puzzle and this couldn't be more obvious between this fated-unfated couple. With the entire Greer clan between them, and then some, it takes a fake mountain Lion to get the ball rolling
I've immensely enjoyed this series so far, eagerly anticipating the next book with childlike enthusiasm. Only my tongue hanging out at the drool worthy, lickable men devney conjures up, is very very Adult!!!!
