My books all tend to be darker romance, edge of you seat, angst filled reads. My advice to my readers when starting one of my titles…prepare for the unexpected. I have always had a passion for storytelling, whether it be through lyrics or bed time stories with my sisters growing up. My mum would always have a book in her hand when I was young and passed on her love for reading, inspiring me to venture into writing my own. I tend to have a darker edge to my writing. Not all love stories are made from light; some are created in darkness but are just as powerful and worth telling. When I'm not lost in the world of characters I love spending time with my family. I'm a mum and that comes first in my life but when I do get down time I love attending music concerts or reading events with my younger sister.

Just closed the kindle on the first book of The V Games Series, Vlad.
There are numerous characters to learn about and numerous families to get to know. Thank goodness in the beginning of the book, these two authors blessed us with a little family tree of sorts for us to go back to when all the V names are mentioned!
When you’re a Vasiliev, you don’t enter the world with potential to be great, you are great. You’re better than great. You’re the freaking best.
Vlad has grown up to carry on the Vasiliev name properly. Being the oldest of the Vasiliev children he will be taking over the family business. Being the family that runs the V Games, they also deal in drugs and human trafficking and weapon dealing. This family is sick! As long as Vlad is properly cared for, the devil stays hidden.
Vasiliev men aren’t weak.
Vasiliev men bow to no one.
Vasiliev men are kings.
Diane is the eldest child of the Volkov Family. She has been primed to take over in the family business of Volkov Spirits. Between her and her younger sister Irina, they have made Volkov Spirits what it is today. Proving to this male dominated ran family that a woman can do just as well as a man.
When Diane is promised to Vlad so that the families can become stronger, this is when the book takes an interesting turn! These families have been around each other for years, they have all grown up together. So, when one is promised to you to marry, what if it’s the wrong person? What if it’s not about love but about who is promised to who, that is how marriages are arranged. When father tells you who you will marry, will you forget about love being in your life?
It’s a story that I found was a bit confusing at times due to so many having names that start with V and all of them having last names that start with V. The story was unusual but to me didn’t really hit it out of the ball park. I was conflicted on whether this was a forbidden romance story or a vicious some sort of hyped up gladiator games story. As with all books though, each person reads the same story differently…My advice is check this one out and read it for yourself.

When these two Witches of Darkness get together, it's explosive action and brutal massacres. I think they enable each other's wild imaginations and feed off of each other's dark souls. I'm not complaining, cause i get to read twisted , fucKERed up stories that quench my dark needs too, so ...Win-Win !
In this book 1 of the series they create the Bratva World. The ruthless Russians are major players in the Underworld of Human Trafficking, arms smuggling , drugs and what nots.
They hold annual V-Games, which are like free for all gladiator games, I'm assuming. Bloody Fights unto Deaths which separate boys from men and winning them is a matter of prestige . survival of the fittest is the norm in this Underworld.
Heirchy is of utmost importance in this mafia. There's First Families and second families and then everybody else. Alliances, brotherhood, marriages of convenience are used in this endless fight for supremacy. Sons are bred to lead and women are bred to be used as pawns amongst families
The First Families are Vasilievs, Votrovs and Volkovs.
Vile.
Vicious.
Villainous.
Vasiliev.
Vasiliev name outranks the Volkov one now and always.
And their Coal-hearted Prince The Mighty VLAD !
One thing though, between all this hurricane of madness, I really loved Irina and Vlad's unusual pairing.
An angel giving a devil her wings for safekeeping.
I don't wanna give ANY of the story away cause Kristi has this Evil side eyes when sharpening knives, I'm shit scared !
Suffice to say , it gets real bloody, real fast, real passionate real fast and then real intriguing real fast.....and then I'm left hanging !!
Hurry up and write the next ones K&K!!
My only peeve was that most of the characters were named with V and it took me a while to figure out who was who. I had to constantly go the chart to sort it out, by the time I memorized, book had finished.
It takes some time to connect with characters because it's a strange world of Ruthless Chenghez-ian men and young Killer Ludmillas who entice & ensnare their preys and then squeeze the life out of them.
Can't wait for book 2
