[Release Blitz & Book Reviews] 🍀IRISH KISS🍀 by Sienna Blake

Available via Kindle Unlimited

Saoirse
I wanted him since the day I met him. Long haired, tattooed and tall as an Irish giant. He was more than just handsome, he was drop dead gorgeous. And the only one who ever truly cared. It didn’t matter to him that my father was a criminal and my mother a whore. He saw me, understood me.

I could be anything I wanted, he said.
Except his.
Because I was too young and he was my Juvenile Liaison Officer.

Diarmuid
It’s been years since I last saw her. No longer a girl, she has a body of a woman. When our eyes met again, I saw the only one who ever broke through my asshole mask. She never judged me. She saw me, accepted me.

She could be anything she wanted.
Except mine.
Cause she’s only seventeen and I’m trying my hardest not to fall for her.

If I give in, she will ruin me.

*This is a slow-burn, angsty love story spanning across a seven-year time period with sexual situations and drug-use involving characters under the age of eighteen.
Irish Kiss is a complete standalone novel with a Happily Ever After, but damn, it is going to hurt along the way.*

Sienna Blake is a storyteller & inkslnger, wordspinner of love stories with grit, and alter ego of a USA Today Bestselling Author.

She loves all things that make her heart race — rollercoasters, thrillers and rowdy unrestrained sex. She likes to explore the darker side of human nature in her writing.

If she told you who she really was, she’d have to kill you. Because of her passion for crime and forensics, she’d totally get away with your murder.

With each book I read by Sienna Blake, I see the growth of a fantastic author. Each book she’s written, progressively better than the last. An author that has made it onto my list of one-click without reading the blurb or thinking twice about reading.

Irish Kiss in my opinion is Sienna Blake’s best work to date! This book was written perfectly and flowed without a hitch. It’s an emotional journey spanning over many years.

Some people are born into family. We get to choose ours. We make our own, forged out of our hearts and weaved together by the strings of our souls.

Saoirse is a young 13 yr old living with a Ma who is a whore addicted to drugs. Learning to survive as best as she can. When a ‘friend’ causes her to have a run in with the local Garda. Once she’s been processed and taken to her mother by the Garda who has been assigned to her, a friendship unlike any she has had before is formed.

Diarmuid is a JLO (Juvenile Liaison Officer) who has been assigned to Saoirse. Helping children is his life. Someone once helped him become the man that he is today. He has appreciated the loyal help given to him at a young age. Striving to help these troubled kids understand that they too mean something in this world and can make themselves better.

What neither of them saw was the bond these two would form. So strong yet so forbidden. Everyone against them yet the only thing these two needs is each other.

This is a story of sadness, it’s a story of love, a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Back stabbing to advance, to betrayal of a person whom you’ve chosen to spend a lifetime with. Trying to be the adult and doing the right thing to being the almost adult and trying to understand why things happen as they do.

Fantastic slow burning love story that will form a serotonin molecule in your heart!

The myth of Selkie is the basis of this modern love story. Legend has it that a woman with fins of a seal is in love with a human and sacrifices her happiness to save him. This story is all about sacrificing for your love, for their betterment and their well being

Diarmuid Brennan is a JLO-Juvenile Liaison Officer for troubled youths. He's giving back to the community by saving young, first time offenders and delinquents from sinking more into the quagmire of drugs, crime & gang violence. He's very passionate about saving these pure souls and nudging them on a path towards better life, school, career. And then she walks in......
Of all the police stations in all the country, she had to walk into mine.
His new ward-Saoirse Bryne, all of thirteen, naive, innocent, trapped ! A hellhole of house, whore of a Ma and criminal Da, languishing in jail. She's suffering so bad, breaks my heart & Dairmuid's . The Angel has to struggle daily for food, studies, clothes, love & attention.
I hated all of those people in those terrace houses, all those self-important fathers with proper jobs, those overbearing helicopter mothers, all those ungrateful brats with full bellies and laughter in their lungs and no idea how lucky they were. They had no idea what life was really like, what it was to burn and ache and hate and struggle. To feel like you had to fight and kick for every breath because life was holding your head underwater, laughing at you all the while. I’d learned long ago that I was alone. But that didn’t bother me. I knew I couldn’t count on anyone else except for myself.
I hated her parents, her dire situation, her life and wanted to save this beautiful girl from being crushed under the weight of loneliness and despair, so my work is done by Dairmuid !. He takes her under his wing, guiding her. But in the process, loses his heart, his life, his soul.
Oh Gawd!! The story is so hopelessly romantic, hugs and tears at my heartstrings. Dairmuid is caught between his wants and needs, heart want her , head KNOWS it's wrong and he stays away, keeps her at a distance. It kills Saoirse and me too💔
Where the HELL is the 🍀Luck O The Irish🍀 when you need it

A classic tragic tale, just waiting to rip you apart !
This. Here. He was my harbour. This was my home. It felt so damn right I could have cried. I could have begged him to never let me go. Instead I curled my fingers into his shirt. I held on for as long as I could. Stealing his seal-skin under the cover of darkness, with the non-judgemental moon as my only witness.
Two devastated lovers have to remain distant, a mile or a moment, doesn't matter.
It's unfair! It's Life !!
By this time I was crying , wanted to manually race the clock towards her 18th birthday.
I was sick to death of this want you, shouldn’t have you, push-pull bullshit.
The writing has improved so much, this might be Sienna's best work yet. Her adopted home of Ireland seems to be a place rich with traditions, warmth & folklore. We get to see it through her eyes & words. I LOVED the premise, the heart ripping angst, fat tears of grief and ultimately sobs of relief, all found in the pages of this immortal love story of Saoirse and Diarmuid. Because you see, they're Selkie
he has her skin
She has his

They're bound by fate, love and misery. Equal partners despite the decade between them.
I just wished them early relief but Sienna loves to dig the knife deep and keep twisting !
Bleed all over people, get tissues handy and wine glass full
4.5 "Serotonin Molecule" stars
