| What a fantastic debut novel! K. Street is an author that can only grow stronger from this first book. One to add to the list of author's to watch what she produces next. Ryann is a person who has been through so much and more in her life. After watching her father murder her mother and then surviving her father driving the car to kill them both. The years pass and life goes on. Although the nightmares have slowed down, the constant reminder of what she went through will always be in her head. Cash is the local detective on the police squad. Heading to his cousins remodeled bar...he takes one look at the girl working behind the bar and immediately recognizes her. After all these years...how is it possible. This is a great story of how love can help you overcome everything bad that has happened in your life. One that if you find the right person, you can start to have feelings and live life like it was meant to be. With the twists and turns included in this book, you can not put it down till the very last page! |
